I started a new Bible study. I've spent a week in a passage that has had the biggest impact on my life ever. Matthew 14:22-33.
The disciples are in the boat and a storm comes up and Jesus walks on the water to them. Peter gets out of the boat and walks on the water to Jesus. Takes his eyes off and sinks but I Jesus reaches out and pulls him up.
What struck me was that Jesus sent them out in the boat and he went up the mountainside to pray. While they were worried about their storm Jesus was praying.
Wish it told us what he was praying about.
I've enjoyed revisiting this passage and remembering what it meant/means to me.
On this holiday, I'm celebrating Jesus love for me.
